iPhone 13

If the time has come for you to ditch your old smartphone and get an upgrade, you could have not picked a better time. Apple has released its latest generation of iPhones and so far, there has been nothing but praise for the device. Packed with several new features in the newest version of iOS and the new A15 Bionic chip, the iPhone 13 blows its competition out of the way.

However, there is a price to pay. It is an expensive device and it does not take much to overspend. You could get an iPhone 13 from M1 or any other operator. There are plenty of offers to choose from and there are four iPhones to choose from. If you do your due diligence, you can get a new iPhone for cheap.

Picking The Right Version of iPhone

Just like for the previous generations, we have the iPhone 13 Mini, the standard version, the Pro, and the Pro Max. All of them are available in Singapore and you will get to choose one out of the 9 colors available but depending on which version of iPhone you get, you may be limited to a selection of 4 or 5 colors.

The color of the iPhone of your choice is the least of your problems. What you should focus on is deciding which device to get. The most affordable one is the Mini. However, not everyone wants a compact smartphone that is that small. For most people, the standard version should suffice. It is around 10% more expensive but you get a larger display and the same hardware. For maximum savings, you can go for the 128 GB version which should be enough if you are not a hardcore photography enthusiast.

For the range-topping devices, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, pricing can be a bit steep. They come with a larger display, the same storage options plus the option to get it with 1TB of storage and an extra camera. Everything else is the same. However, the pricing makes them prohibitive if you want to get the best value.

The Pro and Pro Max only make sense for heavy camera users and those will not get the base version that has 128 GB of storage. If you get the iPhone 13 from M1, you can find the Pro and Pro Max but it may not be worth considering as even on a 24-month contract, the upfront payment is anything but insignificant.

The Biggest Savings on a New iPhone 13

If you want to get the biggest savings on a new iPhone 13 you have to get it on a contract. Almost all operators in Singapore have the iPhone on sale and discounted when purchased with certain plans. You can get the iPhone 13 from M1 or any other operator. Depending on what campaign they are running, you may even be able to get the latest iPhone with a 0 upfront payment. However, you should expect to have a reasonably high monthly payment on your subscription. You are not getting the device for free and operators will cover the costs by having you locked and paying your subscription for 12, 24, or 36 months. It is not a bad deal since most users replace their smartphones once every two years.
